THE ROYAL COURTS
In 1811, the French Emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte III made a visit to Courvoisier. He was so taken with the spirit that it was named the official cognac of Napoleon’s Imperial Court. Courvoisier’s popularity in France spread like wildfire and soon after, became beloved throughout Europe and graced the tables of many royal courts.
