CVTF500 Ambassador Thinks Outside The Box
The latest creative experiment to celebrate Britain’s design legacy, BT ArtBox sees a host of innovative individuals refashion the classic K6 telephone kiosk and a live open-air exhibition, taking over London’s streets with more than 80 new designs.
We at Courvoisier are excited to announce that among the designers involved is Central St Martins graduate and Courvoisier The Future 500 Ambassador Benjamin Shine, whose phone box features a giraffe bursting out of the top.
Shine explained: ‘My design very much plays with the London backdrop, which provides the necessary juxtaposition for the giraffe to appear so out of context,’ he says. ‘It needed to be right in the middle of a bustling city location.’
Indeed, we are particularly proud to have Benjamin Shine’s design in busy Leicester Square, as having created the Courvoisier Future 500 network to champion pioneering, talented and progressive-thinking individuals in line with Courvoisier’s brand promise “to celebrate what’s next”, it’s fantastic to see his creative concept live on our doorstep.
